Quest Builders Group Inc was founded at the start of the new millennium. Quest is a General Contractor/Construction Manager servicing the New York Metropolitan area.  We service the commercial and residential industries by providing an array of construction services for all types of projects.

Mr. Patrick Fitzpatrick
Principal, has over 24 years of experience in the New York construction industry. His day to day responsibilities include managing pre-construction and cost estimating through detailed budgeting, purchase and award for all QBG projects. In addition, Mr. Fitzpatrick manages the implementation of all internal systems and controls as well as contract administration, cost control and cash flow management. Over the last 24 years, he has successfully completed in excess of two million square feet of core and shell, interior fit-outs and commercial upgrades. Mr. Fitzpatrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Architecture from the University of New Haven, and participated in The Construction Management Graduate Program at Polytechnic University in Brooklyn.

Mr. Eric Derector
Principal, has 18 years of experience in the real estate and construction industry. Mr. Derector’s primary day to day responsibilities include maintaining relationships with clients, industry professionals and sub-contractors alike. In addition, he liaises between the operational and administrative sectors of all QBG projects with a focus on DOB closeout. Mr. Derector also provides MEPS oversight for all technology and infrastructure projects. He has successfully completed over 1,500,000 square feet of new construction, high tech tenant modernization work and commercial office fit-outs, ranging from law firms and financial institutions to hospitals and hotels. Mr. Derector holds Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering and Management from the University of Maryland.

Mr. Pat Higgins
Principal and Director of Operations, Mr. Higgins is a client minded, results oriented industry veteran with over 25 years of experience. Over that time he has successfully completed projects for many of New York’s most notable financial institutions, law firms, brokerage houses, developers and landlords. Mr. Higgins oversees all on-site operations and field personnel for Quest Builders Group. In his day to day role he manages schedule generation, construction execution, trade coordination and labor. General site management, site safety and quality control are all carefully managed under his direction.

Mr. Joe Leone
Director of Project Management, has been a Project Manager with Quest Builders Group, Inc since 2009. Mr. Leone’s strengths include project pre-planning, scheduling and job kick off through implementation and closeout. He has completed many fast tracked, high end finish projects in his tenure with Quest. Mr. Leone has and in depth knowledge of the construction process and is a natural leader in the field. Mr. Leone supervises all project managers and along with the field superintendents. Mr. Leone is a graduate of the University of Stony Brook.
